Identity Verification

Before you can open a patient record in the WoundScribe Mobile App, you verify your identity. It's a one-time step that runs through Persona, a HIPAA-compliant provider, and it unlocks the dashboard, patients, and calendar.

How to verify your identity

1. Create your account and sign in to reach your dashboard.
2. Tap Start verification to open Persona in a secure new tab.
3. Review the consent on the Getting started screen, then tap Begin verifying.
4. Pick the country your government ID is from, then tap Select.
5. Choose one accepted photo ID: a driver license, passport, or state ID.
6. Capture a clear photo of the front of your ID, then complete the quick selfie.

Clinicians: add your credentials

On the Profile page, add your NPI number, state medical license, and DEA registration. These go to the team for verification.

If you closed the Persona window early, tap Resume verification on the Profile page or Dashboard. Once Persona is done, tap I've completed verification to refresh.

What unlocks afterward

The dashboard shows how many patients are active and how many encounters are not started. The Patients page and calendar open up, with filters for today, your patients, and progress, plus New Encounter and New Patient. You can also narrow the list by date range, status, or organization.

From there, you're set up for charting wound care from your phone.
